The Doodlebops Reviews

Reviews are based off watching the dvds for countless hours with my 20 month old niece Quinn. While she loves the show alot on whole, certain episodes are better liked than others. I recommend buying both dvds if nothing else than for your sanity(2 dvds on perma rotation is better than 1),but if you can only choose one, i would go with volume 2, it seems to be the most fun and most liked one of the two according to Quinn's reaction

Doodlebops Dvd Volume 1

High and Low

This episode has The Doodlebops off on an adventure to capture high and low sounds on Mazz's tape recorder, to use to finish a new song aptly title High and Low. Not a bad episode, but definetly not one of the more fun ones, it fails to get Quinn dancing.

Tap Tap Tap

Here Dee Dee get's a pair of magic tap dancing shoes, that when worn you can't stop dancing. Moe and Rooney have to find away to get the shoes of Dee Dee before its too late. This is a real fun episode with a catchy jazzy song that causes Quinn to "tap dance" throughout the house.

Queen for a Dee Dee

In this episode Dee Dee gets to live out every's girls dream to be a queen, and learns a valuable lesson on bossiness in the process, while this one fails to really grab Quinn's attention, older kids who are into the whole queen/princess themes will love it.

Doodlebops Dvd Volume 2

The Move Groove

When faced with a gig that is far, far,faaaar away, and Bus Driver Bob fixing a broken down Doodlebop Express, The Doodlebops must move and groove to the gig using any means of transportation they can find. While the main song is pretty catchy, and will even make adults tap their feet, this episode doesn't really do anything for Quinn

Jumping Judy

In probaly the most fun episode for kids of all ages, we are introduced to Jumping Judy, a well I'm not really sure what she is, but what she does is jump up and down all the time. Of course when your kids watch this one, they will be jump jump jumping all over the house, and Quinn is no different as soon as Judy makes her appearence, Quinn starts jumping.

Wobbly Whoopsy

For her birthday Dee Dee wants Rooney and Moe to do the new dance she made up called the "Wobbly Whoopsy", wobbly whoopsy?. Unfortunetly it requires wearing a pink tu-tu, and the guys want no part of it. They are busy trying to get Dee Dee the "perfect" present.With the episode featuring a dance you can be rest assured this one ranks high on the Quinn-o-meter.
